I have been attending Stan Lee’s Comikaze for a few years and there is some things about it that makes it stand out like no other Expo. I do go to an extensive amount of shows during the year and some have luster that is unmatched. This show is one of them.
Regina Carpinelli came on the latest GGGWP episode last week and explained the monstrosity of work it takes to run and produce a show of that caliber. It’s evident that Comikaze Expo grabs from all corners of the nerdom kingdom. Placed on a perfect weekend of Halloween festivities, you get your ghoul fix and super amazing entertainment lineup. This is catered for families, but for couples too or if you ride solo like me. It has a great selection of vendors and cosplayer’s to visit. Let’s not mention the craziest list of comic, television, and major entertainers that would make anyone weak in the knees.
Tomorrow, I will be on a mission to go see my two of my female idols. Dita Von Teese and Carrie Fisher. I had a chance to meet Dita at last year’s Comikaze, and she was absolutely delightful. I got one her sexy coffee table books. I will be roaming around if you find me don’t be and shy and say hello. Tickets are still available for Saturday and Sunday. Pro-tip: I do suggest taking a look at their survival guide.
