San Diego Comic Con 2015
Also a moment of silence and our favorite Nintendo memories, a tribute to Satoru Iwata (1959-2015) RIP.
Had a chance to finally get my hands on Star Wars: Battlefront was not only my favorite things at E3 2015 this year but it lived past the expectations I had for it. I had strong feelings towards it, I seriously thought it was Battlefields new clone baby, but I was wrong, dead wrong.
I was blown away by the amount of detail and work that went into the game, not just the exterior like the graphics, how the game handled, and the over-all look, but it went a step further by implementing small details that only a true Star Wars fan would catch and admire. The interior like the game modes, the multiplayer, and the new features yet to be announced were strong, charming, and simply fluid. Every Star Wars or Battlefront fan will beam, fall over, and flip tables once they play Star Wars: Battlefront.
The game has everything you could ask for in terms of a multiplayer. I tend to be critical on multiplayers, as my inner nerd wants this to be a highly successful game, sometimes things don’t transpire even though the idea is solid. EA and DICE have captured the magic of Star Wars and have used the vehicle of the new gen consoles to push them. PC users will be not disappointed either. The truth is that the multiplayer just simply floored me. The part were the multiplayer felt it’s relevance is when I was able to take down AT-AT with my Snowspeeder, that was head toe excitement, it was really hard for me to leave the booth area after that honestly. I also had to a chance to play a co-op game mode called, “Survival.” I usually love horde-mode co-ops and this was really fun to play. The AI is really responsive and completely unpredictable. No action is the same nor can you guess where the AI are going to be coming from. It does challenge you and it does not feel monotonous which most horde-like modes can easily fall victim too. I hardly speak after playing it I was so excited, here is more on Star Wars: Battlefront and the new mode, Survival and more with Craig McLeod of DICE Games.

I had the pleasure to talk to Alex Verrey, Global PR Director for Mad Catz and get to the bottom of what RockBand 4 is all about. As a fan of rhythmic games I was really curious on how this was going to be different from the previous RockBand titles. I had no doubt I was going to like it, but after talking to Alex I was floored on what the new RockBand 4 was capable of doing and the overall presentation of its presence. It made me think how much I really missed RockBand, which is why it’s clear Harmonix has tactfully thought this out. I honestly, have to say I had so much energy after talking to Alex I was hyped for RockBand 4. I will be hosting my weekly RockBand parties once again and so will you! Also, Alex was my last and final Thursday interview of E3 2015. He let me finish strong and with full of excitement! Check out my interview with him! Please subscribe and comment below!
Cuphead is that game that can be carried by its charisma yet it is a challenge with serious consequences. Clearly its built do pay homage to the golden age of animation. Inspired by 1930’s animation and produced with the tedious technique of hand drawn concept built from the bottom up, built by two brothers Chad and Jared Moldenhauer who’s love for classic cartoons and jazz music gave birth to a game that will be loved by many and will be challenged by many. Don’t let it’s looks deceive you, it might look cute, it might make you dance, but it has things that will challenge you. Perhaps that its charm to make you believe it’s a filled with 1930’s inspired animation along with glorious boss fights. I will say this, be prepared to be challenge by your gamer “ego” this game is not only hard, but it’s really hard. Check out my interview with Chad Moldenhauer on the birth of Cuphead. Such a wonderful fresh of breath air and charisma this game was in my top 5 games at E3 2015, it will be released Available 2016 on XBOX ONE & STEAM. Follow them on Twitter for more updates and news.

My intension was my drive and the weeks prior to planning were exactly what I needed do to make things 1000% better this year. Today Bethesda Softworks, a ZeniMax Media Company, confirmed what we all wanted to be true, a new FALLOUT 4!!! When a mysterious countdown and clock appeared yesterday, social media couldn’t contain its excitement nor predictions. It’s almost mind-blowing to believe that this the studio’s first title since 2011’s, Skyrim. It almost makes you believe when you just thought you wouldn’t see another title come through and then BAM!!! The simplicity of its demeanor was enough to allow much speculation and all the possibilities of new Fallout yesterday, the delivery for me was flawless. The memories of desolated wastelands, vault boys, and survival through post-apocalyptic Boston is just wonderful to think of. The classical tunes echoing through the scenes gave me every reason to believe this is just the beginning. On June, 14th I will be attending the Bethesda Showcase at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood were all the press will be there for the first ever Bethesda press showcase and the world premiere of Fallout 4 and other announcements.
“We know what this game means to everyone,” said Game Director, Todd Howard in a press release, he also stated that “The time and technology have allowed us to be more ambitious than ever. We’ve never been more excited about a game, and we can’t wait to share it.”
I had so many things that ran through my head once the trailer started. I obviously loved seeing the dog as that symbolic man’s best friend figure, it was wonderful to see the capabilities of its AI at a glance. The trailer had all the elements of what makes the Fallout series so captivating, the old Americana environment infused with the robotics of the future and the quick cut scenes of post-apocalyptic Boston made my insides light up like a nuclear Christmas tree. It set the mood for other scenes and left just enough to seek more. It was really astonishing to comprehend this will take place in Boston. A city so rich is architecture and history I cannot imagine the incredible detailed storyline it will have. Being a huge fan of the city of Boston and seeing the iconic landmarks like the Old Northern Church, Scollay Square, Paul Revere Monument, and the State House in the trailer was just tidbits of what is yet to come. For every Bostonian and Fallout fan I can’t imagine the hype or excitement brewing within your bones. It was announced that it will be available for pre-order on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
Make sure you are following my Twitter as I will be broadcasting Live form the Bethesda Press Showcase on June, 14th and check out the live stream from the presser on Twitch and YouTube.
This morning Projekt CD RED released the most well put together trailer video game trailer that gave every reason why it’s A MUST HAVE. All in 5 mins, very clever and straight to the point. It basically covered all the grounds on what the game has to offer. When I had to a chance to finally play it at PAX East I basically felt the time slipped before me. Every moment meant something and I was encourage by the idea of investing on a RPG again that could really give me a sense of accomplishment. With that being said, I have been waiting patiently and not bothered on the fact they delayed it to further cover their t’s and dot their i’s
