I wanted to update you on major changes for the GGGWP. As you noticed we have not have had a new episode in about two months. If you reading this you either are a fan of the show or jonesing for your weekly fix. Thank you for stopping by, listening to the GGGWP, and supporting us. We LOVE you. As the creator and producer of the show I had to make some executive decisions for the longevity and future of the show.
As of today, I have changed the roster of the show and as we near our 100th episode. Ivy Doomkitty will be moving on to different endeavors and can’t no longer commit to the show. We are sad to see her go and we wish her nothing but the very best! Ivy Doomkitty did an impressive 52 episodes and has contributed a wonderful era to the show. Ivy’s personality and knowledge in the cosplay, gaming, and entertainment world is beyond impressive and we will miss her and always consider her an honorary host on the GGGWP.
The GGGWP has built its own community and it would be unfair to walk away from those of you who have been supporting us. We KNOW when you’re listening and we appreciate your support. I thought long and hard about this, and I have come to the conclusion that the show will GO ON.
I would be lying if I told I didn’t like podcasting, but it’s a true labor of LOVE that is absolutely free for all who care to participate. Again, thank you for participating. I’m happy to entertain all of you and honestly very humbled by the returning support you guys give the show. We’ve have had cosplay artists, gaming industry royalty, and incredible entertainment artists join us on the GGGWP, it’s time to revamp the show, and add other influencers on.
My goal is to deliver a proper “The Road to the 100th Episode series for 2016. I have been focusing on other projects in the gaming industry and if you’re following me on social media, or attending my weekly Twitch streams you might be quite aware what I’ve been doing. It takes time to record and publish a podcast episode, but I feel the need to give you all something really special this time around. I was perplexed on a replacement host as you can imagine undertaking that took or consider. I had only 3 candidates in mind, these were some serious shoes/heels to fill in. I am excited to announce the new co-host for the GGGWP is someone who needs no introduction nor do I need to convince you of her qualifications, this GIRL is the real deal. One of my personal hero’s in the gaming industry and someone I highly respect. We will be continuing the podcast with the one and only Brittney Brombacher aka BLONDENERD! PEOPLE I REPEAT BLONDENERD! So you want to be a Beast Master?! This was my second run through of Ubisoft’s Far Cry Primal and this time I had more time to explore the realities of what it could have been like to live in the Stone Age. At first, I was so fixated on finding the antagonists of the game, but what I didn’t realize is that everyone was the antagonist in some way. The harsh environments, massive array of wildlife, and the unpredictable behaviors of others made it difficult to trust anyone and extremely entertaining. As you try to find your way through, you discover you’re of the Wenja people and in fact realize there are others just like you. It becomes your sole purpose to find your people and reunite them. In doing so you will be challenged and not just by other humans, but by wildlife, stunning environments (I died sometimes just by staring off into the scenery lol), and the massive open world whicgrants you the ability to make interesting game play choices.
They really took the time to study and build Far Cry Primal from head to toe, which I feel Ubisoft doesn’t get enough credit for to be quite honest. I had a chance to play over 4 hours of full open world Stone Age mayhem gameplay and I also had the pleasure to interview Associate Producer, Paola Jouyaux and Concept Artist, Naomi Savoie (Definitely, a highlight of the trip). It was great to have a ladies round table of Far Cry Primal and to discuss the realities of building such a game.
At first, I was so fixated on finding the antagonists, but what I realized this time around was that everyone was the antagonist.
Ubisoft didn’t leave any stone unturned, you will be in awe of the massive beauty this game offers.
I have always loved the Far Cry series, I was really delighted to know that this was going to be based during the Stone Age era and I can honestly say that the game does not disappoint. You have all the elements of the Far Cry series we all love, but also some fun twists that you will have fun discovering. Visually, the game is absolutely stunning, the environmental design is brilliant, its like stepping back in time into a world unknown. Ubisoft didn’t leave any stone unturned, you will be in awe of the massive beauty this game offers. The other element which I discuss more with Paola and Naomi is the Beast Master abilities in which you have to help aid you through the game. By using you taming ability, each animal offers characteristics that will serve its purpose for however you choose to navigate through the game, you could ride a bear or a Saber or perhaps discover some animals like the honey badger which could offer interesting game play opportunities.
I will say that if you’re a Far Cry fan you will have no problem diving right into the game. It’s like riding a bike, and yet things will have a familiar sense, there are elements of surprises do set it apart from it’s predecessors for sure. It also has a has a strong storyline, which you can get a feel for in my interview and you will soon discover it is not one noted. As far as the new comers to the Far Cry series, you will be pleasantly eased into the game play mechanics. It’s fluid enough to make you feel successful and it has wonderful opportunities of a Stone Age open world environment in which anything is possible.
Had a chance to talk to Crystal Dynamics lead designer Mike Brinker on Rise Of The Tomb Raider and it’s new DLC and the beauty of Lara Croft. You know how much I loved Rise Of The Tomb Raider, this DLC will not disappoint! Check it out! I will have a full REVIEW in a few days once embargo lifts, till then here is some insight on what to look forward on the new DLC and the PC features for Rise Of The Tomb Raider.

My mouth almost dropped to the floor when I saw Final Fantasy XIII Lighting on the Louis Vuitton’s new campaign ad. I don’t how I missed it, but it worth sharing and my god the campaign by Nicolas Ghesquière in collaboration’s with Square Enix’s Visual Works and Tstsuya Nomura are BRILLIANT and BEAUTIFUL!
Nicolas Ghesquière, head creative director for Louis Vuitton posted the “Series 4” video on his personal Instagram, describing Final Fantasy’s Lighting as “genuine heroine”. Ghesquiere also added that the campaign’s art is a collaborations between Square Enix’s Visual Works and Tstsuya Nomura. You can check Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer fashion show from October that you can see the first glimpse of the model’s “Lighting look” appear on the runway, clearly with that soft pale pink hair.
The campaigns short video posted on Ghesquiere is just perfect, which it means I want to buy it, which also means these campaigns to target fashion nerds like myself are working and extremely dangerous. It was just a matter time that a giant fashion house like Louis Vuttion would seek the right video game muse. I like it, I approve, and I hope we can see this through the fashion world much more. My wallet on the other hand is toast, c’est la vie.
